The project involved complete automation of various areas of Drug Testing. These included the following systems.

  • Laboratory Samples Information System
    1. Pharmaceutical Chemistry Section
    2. Micro Biology Section
    3. Pharmacology Section
    4. Pharmacognosy Section
    5. Medical Devices Section
    6. Samples Warden Section

    Various information regarding the drug samples received for testing by the laboratory from various competent authorities all over from India were stored along with the test data and results of various testing procedures carried out there on, to generate various analysis sheets depending on the tests as per procedures laid down in the Indian, U.S. and the British Pharmacopoeias. The system generates the final verdict of the Govt. Analyst regarding the drug sample tested in various prescribed formats i.e. whether it is standard, sub-standard or spurious. The system also generates various statistical, analytical and administrative reports.

    This module is aimed to keep track of the drug testing fees to be charged from various authorities for the drug samples send by them for testing in the laboratory. It reconciles the fees to be charged and the payments received. The system generates various statistical and administrative report
  • Store and Inventory System
  • Personnel Information System (PIS) / Recruitment Information System (RIS)
    PIS module is aimed at complete automation of various areas of human resources like the personnel information pertaining to education, family, past experiences, trainings etc. along with various other information such as transfer of employees from one station to another, promotions, confirmations of ad-hoc employees, and track of legal / suspension cases if any.

    RIS module is aimed at complete automation of various areas of Recruiting functions like requirement gathering for available positions, resume gathering and matching of skill set against the requirements. This system also handles various HR functions like training of employees, placement of new employees and defining recruitment criteria etc.

    Security module of the system handles the access to various options. The system can be customized depending upon various values entered in the master table. The system generates various reports like promotion lists, employee resumes, transfer register, seniority lists, roster registers, deputation register, and status of legal cases along with various other management level reports.

  • Payroll / GPF Accounting System
  • Bank Reconciliation System
  • Leaves Accounting System
    This module is aimed to keep track of the leave record for various types of leaves of an employee. Leaves of various types like casual, earned, medical, half pay, commuted, study, and special leaves like maternity / paternity etc are accounted for in the system. These leaves are credited to the employees account at various different intervals. Employee can avail of these different types of leaves depending on the predefined criteria. The system generates various statistical and administrative reports like leave orders, leave balance statements, leave ledger etc.
