The Makhanlal Chaturvedi
Rashtriya Patrakarita evam Sanchar Vishwavidyalaya was established by an
act of Government of Madhya Pradesh No. 15 of 1990 to
commemorate the renowned & dedicated freedom fighter, Hindi poet
& journalist, Pt. Makhanlal Chaturvedi on his birth centenary
year. The formal inauguration was done on 16th
January 1991 by the vice president of India Dr. Shankar Dayal
Sharma.
