Web Based PSEB E-payment
software
The software provides online payment facility to
pay electricity bills of Punjab State Electricity Board (PSEB).Consumer all the
categories can pay online using their Net banking accounts, debit cards or
credit cards. It reduces rush on payment counters and consumers can make
payment on click of the mouse. The PSEB management can get web based payment
related information any time anywhere. Any consumer can view his/her bill and
get a print of it.

User Classes and
Characteristics
Mainly there are three types of users for the
project
1)
Consumer: This user will create
its login and can view the bill and make the payment.
2)
Admin: This user can generate
various management reports available in the system. This facility can be used
by the client who can view the status of payment pertaining to whole PSEB,
circle wise, division wise etc.
3)
Data Base administrator: This
user is the overall manager of the system. Data loading, data downloading,
system backup ets are the main jobs of the user This user schedule the system,
maintains the data base and make a liaison with project in charge of billing at
DOEACC so that whenever data is received , it is uploaded on the database.
